Fire dampers CU2 / ATEX

DESCRIPTION:
Fire dampers are installed in ventilation ducts passing through a construction element in order to stop the propagation of fire.
Fire dampers are suitable for explosive atmospheres of zone 1,2 (gas) and zone 21,22 (dust).

CONSTRUCTION:
Fire damper consists of:

  • Casing made of refractory material
  • Damper blade
  • Operating mechanism
  • Cold sealing
  • Intumescent strip
  • Connection flange

OPERATING MECHANISM:

  • RMEXT – actuator for zone 2/22 with thermo-electric fuse
  • EMEXT – actuator for zone 1/2/21/22 with thermo-electric fuse

ACCESSORIES:

  • UL – inspection shutter

INSTALLATION:

  • In rigid wall
  • In rigid floor
  • In flexible wall

CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Fire resistance up to 120 minutes
  • Certified according to EN 15650:2010, BCCA with identification number 0749
