DESCRIPTION:
Sound attenuators are used for noise attenuation in ventilation and air conditioning systems.

CONSTRUCTION:
The silencer is constructed from an external casing with flanges and acoustic panels with air guidance. Acoustic panels are filled with mineral wool. Exposed surface of mineral wool is protected with cellulose foil. Standard insulation thickness is 100 or 200mm.

APPLICATION OF SOUND ATTENUATORS:
SSA-1 – provides very efficient noise attenuation in the frequency range between 500 to 4000 Hz.

SSA-2 – provides very efficient noise attenuation in the frequency 250 Hz octave band.

ACCESSORIES:

• PP – perforated plate over mineral wool
• F – PVC foil over mineral wool filling protects wool fibres against erosion by air steam
• G – guides to reduce pressure drop on both sides

INSTALLATION:
Installation with flange on the duct.
